Join Beta-Blocks
Beta-Blocks is our beta tester program. Audio professionals and hobbyists test our plugins on real sessions before they launch and help decide what we fix and build next. Re-Blocks is still open for testing. Applying takes about two minutes.
Step 1
Apply
Tell us your DAW, your system and what you make.
Step 2
We review it
We read every application. Places are limited, but you'll always hear back.
Step 3
Get builds
If you're in, download links come by email.
Step 4
Use it and send notes
Use it on real sessions and tell us what breaks or confuses you.
Who it’s for
Mix engineers, producers, sound designers and hobbyists: anyone who makes audio and likes to help shape the tools they use. You don’t have to be a pro. Use the plugins on real projects and tell us honestly how it went.
- Early builds of each plugin, as soon as they pass our own tests
- A direct line to the team
- You need Windows or macOS, a DAW that loads VST3 or AU plugins and a project in progress
Application sent
You'll get a reply by email. Questions in the meantime go to [email protected].
Before you apply
What do you need from me?
Use our plugins on real projects and tell us what breaks or confuses you. Short notes are fine.
Who can apply?
Audio professionals and hobbyists on Windows or macOS, in any genre: producers, mix engineers, sound designers, anyone who likes to try new tools and help make them better.
Which plugins can I test?
Re-Blocks is still open for testing. When we start testing the next plugin, Beta-Blocks testers hear first.
Which DAWs can I test in?
Any DAW that loads VST3 plugins on Windows or macOS, and Logic Pro through the AU version on macOS. We want testers in all of them: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig and Logic Pro.
Can I join on a Mac?
Yes. Pick macOS in the form and you get Mac builds, with both the VST3 and the AU version.
What else do I need for Re-Blocks?
A session you are mixing and a finished song to compare it with, as a WAV, AIFF, FLAC or MP3 file. You choose the 10 to 20 seconds of it that loop.
Is it safe to use on my projects?
Re-Blocks on the master only switches what you hear between your mix and the reference. Re-Blocks Link changes a track’s level only when you move its block, and neither adds latency. Beta builds can still crash, so save a copy of your project before you open it with one.
How do I send feedback?
Reply to any beta email, or write to [email protected]. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps most.
When will I hear back?
We read every application and reply to each one by email.
Can I share a beta build?
Please don’t. Installers and download links are for you only, as the terms say.
How long does Beta-Blocks run?
It keeps running: each plugin is tested before it launches. You can leave anytime, and we email testers before a plugin’s beta ends.
Is Beta-Blocks free?
Yes. Beta builds cost nothing.
